Go to the home page of GetMeRegistered.com. In the upper right-hand corner, there is a "Confirm An Entry" field.
Simply type in your name and hit "Search."
Pair Up for Health will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012. The race will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The children's 1-mile fun run will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to jog or walk with their children.
Pair Up for Health is a 3-mile trail race challenge that incorporates obstacles such as small hurdles, rolling hills, barrel zig zag, military crawl, tires, stairs, a 4-foot wall and a 58-foot slide called the Gollywhopper. The course will challenge participants with mixed terrain including dirt roads, wooded trails, open fields and grassy paths.

The Pair Up for Health children's fun run is not quite as challenging as the 3-mile course, but just as much fun!

Pair Up for Health will be hosted at Wildlife Prairie State Park located 10 miles west of Peoria, Illinois.

The 2012 registration fee is $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under before May 26. Thereafter, the fee is $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
Online registration will close on Thursday June 7, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Registration will be available during packet pick-up on Friday, June 9th at Running Central from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The last chance to register is on race day from 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. at the Train Depot at Wildlife Prairie State Park.
There are no age restrictions to participate in Pair Up for Health. There will be male and female divisions for each of the following age divisions: 10 and under, 11 - 14, 15 - 18, 19 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 and over.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers of each age division.
No. Running, jogging and walking are all acceptable for Pair Up for Health. In fact, there might even be a little bit of crawling. Any way that you can make it to the finish line is fine. Just get out there and do it!
All participants will receive the official Pair Up for Health race packet which includes a reusable grocery bag and lots of goodies. Name and official race time will be posted on the race results page.
Due to the generosity of our community, we have previously included such prizes as the following. We expect this year to be even better: Maui Jim Sunglasses and gift certificates will also be awarded from the following: EastSide Centre, RiverPlex Recreation and Wellness Center, RoadID, Skin Dimensions, Smoothie King. In 2011, the first 200 registered participants received a 30-minute complimentary massage from Joseph & Hishon Chiropractic.
Following Pair Up for Health, participants and spectators are invited to spend the day at Wildlife Prairie State Park.
Packet pick-up will be on Friday, June 8th at Running Central from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Running Central is located at 4450 N. Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights. Race day packet pick-up will be available from 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. at the Train Depot at Wildlife Prairie State Park.
No. Pair Up for Health is a trail race challenge designed to bring families and friends together on the trail to a healthier lifestyle. We encourage you to invite friends or family to participate with you, but it is not a relay event.
