The Junior League of Peoria, Inc. is an organization of dedicated women whose volunteer efforts impact our community in the focus areas of family, education, health, and environment. We believe our unique mix of leadership and volunteer service allows us to make positive impacts in the community. The Junior League of Peoria has a reputation of making the Peoria community a better place to live – yesterday, today and in the future.
The Junior League of Peoria, established in 1936, reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. The Junior League of Peoria has approximately 400 active and sustaining members who are dedicated and creative women that come from varying backgrounds and interests and share a common goal to make a difference for our community. We are affiliated with the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI).
Since its founding, The Junior League of Peoria has been committed to achieving success and excellence by bringing people together to significantly improve the quality of life in our community. The Junior League of Peoria can be credited with implementing changes and improving conditions in almost every sector of our community. In response to the ever-changing needs of Central Illinois, the Junior League of Peoria has initiated and implemented a wide variety of successful projects over the years.

In an effort to raise awareness of the escalating obesity epidemic among children, the Junior League of Peoria will host Pair Up for Health. This project addresses the growing issue of childhood obesity and sedentary lifestyles. Information and materials related to healthy eating, nutrition, and benefits of exercise will be provided to all participants.
Pair Up for Health strives to partner with local community organizations to address this growing trend.
